What Honoo is

Honoo is an analytics app for indie game developers who use Steamworks. It helps you view Steam data, understand game performance, and compare your game against available benchmarks.

Honoo is not a financial, legal, tax, or business advisory service. The app may show estimates, benchmarks, and interpretations, but you are responsible for your own business decisions.

Your Steamworks access

You are responsible for using a Steamworks Web API key that you are allowed to use.

Honoo stores the key on your device and uses it to call Steam from your device. Do not use Honoo with a Steamworks account or API key unless you have permission to access that account and its data.

You are responsible for keeping your Steamworks account and API key secure. You can revoke or rotate your key in Steamworks.

Purchases

Honoo purchases are handled through Apple and the App Store.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled through Apple. You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings or through the App Store subscription management flow.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Honoo support can help troubleshoot app issues, but Apple decides refund eligibility for App Store purchases.

Service dependencies

Honoo depends on services outside our control, including:

• Steamworks and Steam Store APIs
• Apple and the App Store
• iOS background refresh
• RevenueCat
• Supabase
• Frankfurter currency data
• Discord, if you add a webhook

If those services change, pause, fail, or remove functionality, Honoo features may change, pause, degrade, or stop working. Some changes may require an app update or a user action, such as reconnecting a Steam API key.

Acceptable use

Do not use Honoo to:

• Access data you are not allowed to access.
• Interfere with Honoo, Steam, or third-party services.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse Honoo services.
• Share account access in a way that violates Apple, Steamworks, or other applicable terms.

Privacy

Honoo's privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

The short version: your Steamworks Web API key and raw Steam financial data stay on your device. Honoo servers store only the account and configuration data needed to run the service, plus opt-in cohort data if you choose to share it.

Changes to Honoo

Honoo may change over time. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed. We try to keep changes practical and honest, especially when they affect paid features.

Honoo is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Valve Corporation or Steam.
